A long-term car rental refers to renting a vehicle for an extended period of time to take advantage of the flexibility and cost-effectiveness on offer.
Renting long-term can be a flexible alternative to buying a cheap, potentially unreliable car for your time here in NZ. We take care of insurance, a warrant, registration and maintenance costs to give you the peace of mind you deserve.
Our minimum rental duration for car rentals is 30 days.

To rent a car long-term, we will need a valid driver’s license—either an NZ Driver Licence or an approved International Driver Licence, and a credit or debit card for payment.
All international drivers’ licenses that is accepted in NZ, and meets the criteria as stipulated by the NZTA will be covered by the insurance. Click on this link NZTA for more information.
All our vehicles have unlimited mileage withouth any extra charges.
We hand-pick quality cars known for their sturdiness and lack of issues. However, sometimes issues occur so we offer 24/7 roadside assistance via the AA. Simply call the AA service number provided when you pick up your rental car.
A deposit in the amount of one month’s rental fees in the relevant class of car (Budget, Mid-Range, Top Range) and two weeks rental fees for Adventure class vehicles will be required at time of booking confirmation alongside the first term’s rent. Deposit is ONLY 100% refundable if booking is cancelled at least 7 days prior to pick-up date.
You will need to give us one calendar month’s notice should you wish to cancel your agreement. You will still be liable to pay the full month’s rental during the notice period, even if you return the car early. If a booking is cancelled within 7 days prior to collection, a cancellation fee of $500 for cars will be applicable.
Electronic stability control systems use automatic computer-controlled braking of individual wheels to assist the driver with maintaining control of the car in critical driving situations. ESC helps prevent a vehicle from “spinning out” or “ploughing out” due to the loss of road traction because of slipping wheels.
